Police have evacuated the National Bank in Brussels after a suspicious vehicle was reported by staff early on Tuesday morning.
"Around 7.40 a.m. we received a call from the people of the National Bank itself. We then evacuated the side of the National Bank along which the car is parked," said Ilse Van De Keere, spokeswoman for the Brussels-City-Elsene police zone.

A perimeter of 200 meters has been established. Traffic has been closed since 8 o'clock, and demining services are on the scene.
