Two Belgian tourists — brothers aged 20 and 26 — were found dead on Sunday in their hotel room, Sudpresse reports, citing the Italian newspaper La Repubblica.
The bodies were discovered in the afternoon by their father.
According to initial police reports, drugs were found in the brothers’ hotel room. No signs of violence were found on the bodies.
The hypothesis of a drug cocktail or a possible overdose is being considered as a cause, according to reports.
An investigation has been opened.
