A stabbing took place on the Chaussée d'Anvers, not far from Yser metro station, on Thursday morning.

Around 5 AM, at least two people started fighting and one person was stabbed. "The victim is in mortal danger, the suspected offender was arrested," said the police spokesperson of police zone Brussels-Ixelles, reports Bruzz.

More details about the stabbing, the victim or the offender are not yet known.

The police are investigating the incident.
