Union Saint-Gilloise and RSC Anderlecht failed to score on Sunday evening on the seventh match day in the Champions' Playoffs: 0-0. The scoreless draw means Club Brugge are sole leaders with 45 points.
RSCA started well at Duden Park, with Thomas Delaney putting the ball straight into the hands of Union goalkeeper Anthony Moris. Union replicated through Mohamed Amoura, who saw his clearance defused by Kasper Schmeichel.
Midway through the first half, the much-criticised Moris showed his worth by keeping both Kasper Dolberg and Anders Dreyer off the opening goal at the same stage.
After more than half an hour, Anderlecht captain Jan Vertonghen had to leave the game injured and was replaced by Federico Gattoni. While Union's Kevin Mac Allister thought he had opened the scoring soon after, the Video Assistance Referee (VAR) showed a prior offside by Koki Machida.

After more than an hour of play, Schmeichel again had to show off his skills following a shot from Union striker Amoura. 20 minutes before time, Gustav Nilsson also failed to get past the Anderlecht keeper. The closing stages produced no more goals.
The 0-0 draw leaves RSCA in second place (43 points), Union follows (42 points) – both behind leader Club Brugge with 45 points, following its 1-2 win earlier in the day at the stadium of outgoing national champions Antwerp.
