Club Brugge and Union Saint-Gilloise ended in a 2-2 tie at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Monday night, concluding the eighth day of the Jupiler Pro League’s Champions’ Playoffs.

Having trailed at the 48th minute, Club Brugge retaliated with a splendid goal by Teklab, followed by a stellar double from Skov Olsen at the 57th and 72nd minutes. Union eventually united the game to a draw, thanks to a stunning header by Machida in the 84th minute.

As the league table stands, with only two matches left, Anderlecht is leading, closely followed by Brugge. Both teams hold 46 points each. Union, with 43 points, is in third place yet holds hope for the title win.

Next Sunday promises exciting battles for the title, with Cercle Brugge versus Union at 13:30 and a crucial clash between RSC Anderlecht and Club Brugge at 18:30.

Anderlecht or Club Brugge could be crowned champions if they win their next two matches. Union need to ensure they beat Cercle to stay in the race. With two games to go, the Jupiler Pro League playoffs are heating up.
