The French Civil Aviation Authority has called on airlines to cancel most flights to and from Paris-Orly Airport on Saturday due to a major air traffic controllers’ strike.

On Friday, airlines were instructed to reduce their commercial flight programmes by 70% from 6.00 to 23.30 local time (04:00 to 21:30 GMT) on 25 May 2024.

The directive was issued in a 'notice to airmen' published by the Civil Aviation Authority.
