The Belgian women's volleyball team, The Yellow Tigers (FIVB 14), clinched their place in the Final Four after defeating Czechia (FIVB 18) with 3 sets to 1 (23-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-20) in their fifth match of the European Golden League 2024, held on Saturday in Tarnow, Poland.

This is their fifth consecutive win in this tournament, with victories previously against Sweden (FIVB 27) 3-0, Spain (FIVB 31) 3-1, Estonia (FIVB 49) 3-0 and Croatia (FIVB 36) 3-1.

They will conclude their group phase against Ukraine (FIVB 19), who have four wins and one loss (on Friday against Czechia) at 17:00 on Sunday afternoon.

With 15 points, Belgium is guaranteed to finish in one of the top three spots in this group phase.

At the end of three weekends, each of the 12 nations competing will have played six matches. The top four teams will qualify for the Final Four, scheduled for 15 and 16 June in Czechia.

The finalists and the winner will get to participate in the Challenger Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the prestigious Volley Nations League.
