Euro Shoe Group, the company behind shoe and clothing chain Bristol, has announced that it will commence a clearance sale of its stock from Thursday.
This sale will take place both in their stores across Belgium and the Netherlands, and online.
The announcement follows a judicial reorganisation process, which started last Friday at the Hasselt tribunal.
The company, with 117 stores in Belgium, hopes to find one or more buyers to save as many jobs as possible.
Founded in 1925, family-run Euro Shoe Group employs around 170 people at its headquarters in Beringen, Limburg.
Its Belgian stores are managed by franchisees.
