The Dutch Public Prosecution Service on Friday requested a three-year prison sentence for rapper Ali B, accused by three women of rape and sexual assault.

The 42-year-old artist is on trial in the northwestern city of Harlem. The prosecution maintains that he is guilty of committing two acts of rape and two of sexual assault.

The investigation portrayed him as a domineering, manipulative figure unable to take ‘no’ for an answer, the prosecutors said.  “Ali B has shown no remorse and only cares for his own predicament,” they charged.

A former contestant on The Voice of Holland is one of the complainants. The singer alleged that she was attacked by the rapper in May 2018 on a secluded forest path.

The second plaintiff reported a rape and an assault in August 2018 when she was at a writing camp in Heiloo, northern Holland. At a hearing on Thursday, a witness testified to finding the shaken victim at a Heiloo bus stop. The woman claimed at the time that she had been raped.

Singer Ellen ten Damme accused Ali B of rape in April 2014. According to her statement, she was assaulted by the rapper in a hotel in Meknes, Morocco.

The accused denied all allegations. Earlier in the week, he admitted to “flirting” with Ellen ten Damme, but denied raping her.
