One person has been injured in an overnight brawl in Anderlecht, Brussels, involving a samurai sword, police confirms.
Police were called to the scene of a fight on rue Claude Debussy in Anderlecht around 1.45 am.
Initially when arriving at the location, the police didn’t find anyone, but after a thorough search they found a young man with facial injuries on Avenue Théo Verbeeck.
The young man recounted a brawl involving two other individuals, with one of them using a samurai sword.
The victim was transported to hospital for treatment. The police investigation continues.
