A man in his forties died in a house fire in Oosterzele on Saturday night, according to the East Flanders Public Prosecutor’s office.
The fire broke out in a house on Broek Street, Balegem, part of the municipality of Oosterzele, early in the evening. A 41-year-old man lost his life.
An investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s designated expert confirmed the fire’s cause as accidental.
