Brussels YouTuber YaNike – known for performing pranks – has again thrown a bucket of water, oils, juice and bits of wood over a metro passenger, despite having already been arrested for a similar offence.

The 22-year-old YouTuber has previously uploaded videos of him "pranking" people in public, including throwing a water balloon at an individual in a park. Last November, he posted two videos of himself throwing a mixture of oil, water, withered leaves and dog faeces over passengers on a metro of the Brussels public transport operator STIB.

He was arrested late last year for similar offences. The investigating judge put him under suspicion of intentional battery and injury and damage to property (using force), before being released under conditions in January.

However, the young man has now posted another video in which he commits the offence again. In the recording, he is seen walking in what appears to be a forest, before mixing various oils with water, beetroot juice and pieces of wood. A later shot shows him standing in a metro carriage and throwing the mixture over a male passenger before getting off the metro at the Demey stop in Auderghem.

STIB spokesperson Guy Sablon confirmed to The Brussels Times that the company is aware of the video and the repeat offence. "We really don't take this lightly. We immediately notified the police and instructed our lawyer to add the latest incident to the Public Prosecutor's file on his previous offence." Sablon added that the young man's behaviour is "completely unacceptable".

The local Marlow police zone is aware of the new video and told Bruzz that an official report is being drawn up and that the file has been handed over to an investigating judge.
