The Brussels Auto Show is set to become the Belgium Auto Show from next year after moving the event to Ghent, according to Dutch company 402 Automotive, the event’s organiser.

The Brussels Auto Show, which does not primarily target car buyers, replaced the traditional Auto Salon in January 2024, after the Belgian Automobile Federation (FEBIAC) announced they had no plans to organise a showroom that year.

FEBIAC had since revisited the decision and scheduled the next Brussels Motor Show from 10th to 19th January 2025.

On Thursday, 402 Automotive confirmed the renamed 'Belgium Auto Show' will take place at a new location, Flanders Expo in Ghent on 7-9 March.

The company’s CEO, Ronald van den Broek, expressed delight in a press release that more than 90% of visitors indicated (online) their intention to attend the second edition.

The forthcoming automotive event will be held from 7 to 9 March 2025. Although the inaugural edition saw 122,000 attendees, the organisers plan to set a daily cap at 30,000 people this year.

Beyond car exhibitions and new motor showcases, the Belgium Auto Show will also include an outdoor ‘Action Arena’ where rally cars will lead demonstrations, perform stunts and exhibit drift shows.
