Free shuttle services and night buses will be available to Pukkelpop festival goers, announced the transport company De Lijn.

For the tenth consecutive year, there will be free direct transportation between Hasselt station and the festival ground in Kiewit. Night buses will be available after each festival day to ensure music lovers have an efficient way to return home.

"Last year alone, the night buses safely carried 4,442 festival goers home, marking an increase of nearly 25% compared to the previous year," says Deputy for Mobility Ben Lambrechts (N-VA).

Instead of a ticket, festival attendees can show their wristbands or festival tickets to make use of the free services. The shuttle buses will run every day of the festival as well as the following Monday.

The night buses will be available close to the entrance of the festival and will depart at 02:30 on Friday and Saturday night, and at 00:30 on Sunday night, according to De Lijn.

"As always, the quickest and safest route to the Pukkelpop site is again through public transport or by bike. The use of night buses has been a great success year after year, a collaboration deeply appreciated by our Limburg festival attendees," says spokesperson for Pukkelpop, Frederik Luyten.

De Lijn route planner or app can be used to plan the public transportation journeys. More information about the different night buses lines can be found here.
