A man was stabbed on Saturday night on rue Aerschot in Schaerbeek, local police report.
“Brussels North Police were called at 8pm on 31 August, in response to a knife attack on Aerschot Street in Schaerbeek,” a police spokesperson confirmed. “The victim was immediately attended to by emergency services on the scene. His life is in critical condition.”
Brussels’ public prosecutor was informed of the incident. The investigation has just started.
In the interest of the probe, no further details will be given out.
