Brussels museums will open their doors for Museum Night Fever, the annual Brussels museum night, on 19 October.
For the 17th time, residents and visitors can explore participating museums until 01:00, indulging in nocturnal art and culture, as announced by the organisers in a press release.
A total of 28 Brussels institutions are participating. Emerging artists and collectives will perform at various museums, including Autoworld, Belgian Beer World, BELvue Museum, the Schaerbeek Beer Museum, and Bozar, the Centre for Fine Arts.
Other participating venues include the Army Museum, MedexMuseum, MIMA, Fashion & Lace Museum, Museum of Archers, National Bank Museum, Spontaneous Art Museum, Musical Instruments Museum, Sewers Museum, Saint-Géry Halls, Comics Art Museum, and Train World.
Brussels Museums, the federation representing 125 Brussels museums, are behind this initiative to promote museum collections to a wider audience. Each museum will host a unique event to showcase its collections in a distinctive way.
With museums open from 19:00 to 01:00, revellers not ready to call it a night can attend afterparties at nightclub C12 or Botanique.
