The company operating Filigranes bookstores is seeking one or more potential buyers to take over its activities and staff.

Intell has requested judicial oversight for a transfer procedure, according to the Brussels French-speaking Commercial Court.

Filigranes bookstores, located in Etterbeek, Ixelles, and Knokke, face structural difficulties due to the crisis in the book industry.

A previous restructuring failed to restore financial balance due to low margins and rising costs.

Intell is now looking for buyers and will present any potential candidates to the court after a requested four-month grace period.
