Lufthansa Group, which includes Brussels Airlines, have further extended their suspension of flights to Tel Aviv until at least 24 September due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.

The suspension follows the recent explosion of pagers and walkie-talkies in Lebanon, killing at least 37 people and injuring thousands. Flights to Tehran, Iran, are also cancelled until 24 September, while flights to Beirut, Lebanon, are suspended until 26 October.

Passengers with tickets for the cancelled flights can rebook for a later date or request a refund, according to a statement from Lufthansa Group.

"We are closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and are in contact with local authorities to determine when flights can resume," added the German airline.

Other airlines, including British Airways and Air France, have also suspended flights to Israel and Lebanon for several days due to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
