Belgium's foreign office has reiterated its warning against all travel to Lebanon following recent explosions involving beepers and walkie-talkies in the country.
Belgians currently in Lebanon are urged to leave immediately.
The Foreign Affairs Department emphasised that assistance to citizens in crisis or war situations cannot be guaranteed.
Leaving the affected region before the situation escalates is deemed the safest option.
The department advises against travel to the Middle East in general, stressing the importance of adhering to travel advice.
Besides Lebanon, travel to Israel and the Palestinian territories is also strongly discouraged.
Last week, Lebanon experienced thousands of explosions caused by devices belonging to Hezbollah members, resulting in 39 deaths and approximately 3,000 injuries.
Additionally, Israeli airstrikes on Friday killed another 37 people.
