Individuals hoisted Palestine flags on the roof of Brussels Central Station on Friday evening, replacing the Belgian and EU flags already in place.
Railway operator SNCB confirmed that the incident occurred on Saturday. It is unclear how the individuals reached the roof.
The railway company quickly removed the flags and stated that "we deplore and condemn this intrusion into our premises. The incident is under investigation."
