The bus services operated by De Lijn are expected to resume normal operations in Antwerp on Wednesday after multiple spontaneous strikes.
The decision follows a resolution reached with management on Tuesday, according to the socialist trade union (FGTB-ABVV).
Multiple depots in the province of Antwerp were affected due to spontaneous strikes from bus drives on Monday. Staff members of the transport company were dissatisfied with route cancellations and changes to the work schedule system from fixed schedules to shift work.
The resolution comes on the second day of spontaneous disrupted services. The union emphasised satisfaction that a solution had been found.
