Transavia airline will introduce direct flights between Brussels Airport and Montpellier, southern France, starting in April 2025, the Belgian airport announced on Thursday.
The new route will begin operation on 10 April, with flights running twice a week.
Montpellier is located approximately 1,000 kilometres from Brussels, a journey that takes nearly six hours by train and around ten hours by car.
Transavia is part of the Franco-Dutch group Air France-KLM.
