Several bus routes will be adapted or extended this Friday (1 November) to facilitate the access to cemeteries for All Saints' day, Brussels public transport operator STIB announced on Monday.

Bus route 59 (Hôpital Etterbeek-Ixelles - Bordet Station) and 63 (Gare Centrale - Cimetière de Bruxelles) will be extended to Jules Bordet to make the Brussels, Schaerbeek and Evere cemeteries more accessible.

The Chant d'Oiseaux cemetery in Anderlecht will be accessible through bus route 74 (Uccle Stalle - Clemence Everard), which will be diverted between Trèfles and Eddy Merckx.

The bus route 77 (Kraainem - Hippodrome) will operate between 08:40 and 16:45, instead of just during rush hours. The route will make the Woluwe-Saint-Lambert and Etterbeek cemeteries accessible to passengers.

These changes will be in place from around 08:00 until 16:45. Detailed information about the extended transport services and schedules can be found via the STIB app or website.
