The Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI) issued a yellow fog warning across the entire country on Wednesday.
The warning is effective from Wednesday at 20:00 until 15:00 on Thursday.
Fog will begin forming overnight from Wednesday to Thursday, with visibility in many areas generally below 200 metres, according to the RMI.
The density of the fog will be particularly significant in the plains and valleys in the Ardennes, where visibility may be limited to 50 metres.
Conditions will remain the same on Thursday morning, although visibility will gradually improve from the east throughout the day.
More information and updates will be available on the RMI website.
