The sun will gradually break through following a grey weekend in Belgium, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
Blue skies will appear quickly in the east, while thick cloud fields will linger until late afternoon in the west and near the French border.
Temperatures will remain mild, ranging from 11°C to 14°C. In the evening, they will drop to between 0°C in the Ardennes — possibly slightly lower in some valleys — and 6°C in the plains.
On Monday, the sun will dominate after the grey skies dissipate, though they may be more persistent in the west.
After a chilly morning, maximum temperatures will range from 12°C to 15°C, with light winds. The pattern will repeat on Tuesday.
