Railway services in Dutch provinces of Limburg and large parts of North Brabant is halted until 09:00 on Wednesday due to a strike at rail operator ProRail.
This strike will affect trains to and from cities like Den Bosch, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Sittard, and Tilburg.
International trains from Germany via Venlo to Amsterdam will also be disrupted. NS International reports delays for some Nightjet and ICE International trains.
Although the strike is scheduled to end at 09:00, knock-on delays are expected, according to the Dutch rail company.
The ProRail staff demanding a 13% wage increase initiated the strike, following recent actions in other provinces. The management is offering significantly less.
Further strikes are planned for Friday morning in Zwolle, Groningen, and Arnhem.
