Following a cloudy, rainy day on Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise to nearly 20°C on Sunday, according to forecasts by the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
While Saturday evening and night will be rainy, the weather will become increasingly mild during the night. On Sunday, maximum temperatures will range from 12°C in the south of the country to 18°C in the west.
The wind will blow moderately to mostly fairly strong, and sometimes strong at sea, with gusts of 60 to 75 kilometres per hour. In the Ardennes, peaks of up to 80 kilometres per hour are possible.
On Monday, a rain zone will slowly move from west to east across the country. Afterwards, the skies are expected to clear. Maximum temperatures in the morning will be between 11°C and 15°C. The wind will initially be fairly strong from the south with gusts of 50 to locally 70 or 80 kilometres per hour.
