One and a half tonnes of cocaine intercepted in port in the Netherlands

Dutch customs officials intercepted over one and a half ton of cocaine in the port of Vlissingen in the south of the Netherlands on Thursday and Friday.

The large amount of cocaine was found in pallets of fruit from Colombia, and were destined for Germany.

The market value of the cocaine is estimated to be over €118 million, according to public prosecutors.
