Two tracks by DJ and producer Lost Frequencies has been the most listened-to Belgian artist in the world this year.

Where Are You Now and Are You With Me, surpassing one billion streams on Spotify, according to figures from the streaming service’s Wrapped campaign released on Wednesday.

His album All Stand Together was also the most acclaimed Belgian album globally in 2024.

The most listened-to Belgian song worldwide was Thank You (Not So Bad) by the electronic duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. It was also the most streamed Belgian track in Belgium.

Damso retained his title as Belgium’s favourite artist, ahead of Pommelien Thijs, whose album Per Ongeluk was the most listened-to Belgian album in the country.

Global superstar Taylor Swift remained the queen of Spotify with 26.6 billion streams worldwide. Her album The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology was the most streamed album globally, followed by The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, and Drake. Billie Eilish rounded out the top five.

In Belgium, Taylor Swift was the most streamed artist, followed by Billie Eilish in second place and The Weeknd in fifth. David Guetta and Jul completed the top five in third and fourth positions, respectively.

The most streamed song on Spotify in Belgium in 2024 was Beautiful Things by Benson Boone, while Espresso by Sabina Carpenter was the most streamed track globally.
