American multinational company Amazon has launched the "Amazon Used" service for second-hand items on its Belgian website. Sellers can offer used and returned products at a discount.
People browsing the second-hand service also get information about the condition of the items. This can range from "as new" to "acceptable." The seller decides which label to put with the product, Amazon stated.
The new service, which has existed on other Amazon websites for some time, is part of the internet retailer's 'Second Chance' programme, which also helps consumers repair, exchange and recycle their items.
