Hidden Belgium: Kim mural

The cartoonist known as Kim created a huge comic mural on the back wall of Normo coffee bar in Antwerp.

The work on the corner of Engelse Beurs and Grote Goddaard is crammed with portraits of famous Antwerp figures including Rubens, Panamarenko and Van Beirendonck.

The artist also squeezed in a host of eccentric details including robots, cats, mermaids, skeletons, and a Singer sewing machine.
