A lorry driver found himself trapped in his refrigerated trailer while making a delivery at a supermarket in Braine-l'Alleud (Walloon Brabant) just before the weekend, police reported on Monday.
Firefighters from the Walloon Brabant emergency service were called to assist on Friday afternoon at the Intermarché store located at Place Saint-Sébastien in Braine-l'Alleud.
While delivering goods, the lorry driver accidentally locked himself inside his refrigerated trailer.
The internal emergency unlocking system failed to work, so the 31-year-old man banged on the door to alert others.
Intermarché staff heard him and called the Walloon Brabant firefighters, who came to rescue him.
