The Couleur Café Festival, which will take place from 27 to 29 June in Brussels, has announced five new additions to its line-up.
DJ Rosa Pistola will open the Black Stage on Friday, joining the previously announced Omah Lay and Pa Salieu. The Colombian DJ, who lives in Mexico, is described by the festival organisers as "one of the most prominent DJs in the reggaeton world, a genre still (and unfortunately) dominated by men."
On Saturday, Maureen, an ambassador of Martinique's shatta music (close to dancehall), will energise the festival-goers, while Jalen Ngonda will bring his Marvin Gaye-inspired soul, jazz, and blues to "make bodies and hearts dance," according to the organisers.
Sunday will feature performances from American rap artist Denzel Curry and Queen Omega, "one of the female icons in the history of roots reggae."
The festival will be held in Osseghem Park, at the foot of the Atomium, from 27 to 29 June 2025. Tickets that include entry for all three days of the festival and camping have already sold out.
