Ski enthusiasts will still be able to enjoy the slopes at four winter sports centres in eastern Belgium on Tuesday, the snow report from the East Cantons tourism agency showed.
Four snowsports centres are still offering ski enthusiasts the chance to take to the slopes on a total of 11 runs in the east of Belgium. On Monday, five centres were still welcoming avid skiers, but the four pistes on Mont Spinette are now closed.
The Losheimergraben (cross-country skiing), Ovifat (alpine skiing and sledging), Mertens Rocherath (cross-country skiing) and Herzebösch (cross-country skiing) ski centres are still accessible on Tuesday.
From Wednesday, skiing and sledging may be over, as the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI) forecasts temperatures above 0°C. This means the snow on the mountains will likely melt.
