British low-cost airline easyJet will resume flights to and from the Israeli city of Tel Aviv from 1 June. Several other airlines, including Brussels Airlines, have done the same in recent days.

EasyJet operates up to 38 flights per week connecting Tel Aviv with London, Geneva, Amsterdam, Milan, Berlin, Basel, and Nice.

Other airlines promptly announced that their flights to Israel would resume as a ceasefire agreement between Israel and armed group Hamas in the Gaza Strip seemed imminent.

The Lufthansa Group, which includes Brussels Airlines, will restart flights to Tel Aviv from 1 February.

Dutch airline KLM will resume its flights to Tel Aviv at the earliest by the end of March.
