A new indoor electric karting circuit is set to open at the former General Motors site in Antwerp, the operator Experience Factory confirmed. It says the track will be the longest in Europe.
The former Opel Factory, the car manufacturing location of General Motors in Antwerp, will soon house the largest multi-activity centre in Europe, including the continent's longest indoor electric kart circuit.
The centre will be run by Experience Factory, which already operates a similar centre in Eupen. Over a space of 20,000 m², visitors will find more than ten different activities ranging from karaoke rooms to karting.
The planned E-karting circuit in Antwerp will span 1.1 kilometres over three floors and will accommodate up to 80 electric karts. "With over two decades of experience behind it, this new E-karting track in Antwerp is set to become Europe's premier racing destination," Experience Factory said.
"Racing on a height of up to 5 metres, a butterfly banking, spiral turns, a lookout tower: this track offers an unprecedented level of entertainment." Drivers must be over seven years old to use the main circuit.
