Two more people who were present at a sex party with 25 attendees, including Hungarian MEP Jozsef Szajer, in Brussels, invoked diplomatic immunity when the police stepped in last Friday.
The police were alerted by neighbours who complained about noise and potential breaches of measures related to the Covid-19 pandemic in an apartment on Rue des Pierres in Brussels, according to a statement by the Brussels' prosecutor's office.
"In the apartment, the police found about twenty persons. The identity of all those present was checked. Two of these persons, D. O. (1977) and P. B. (1987), invoked diplomatic immunity," the statement said.

Additionally, the police also caught a man who was seen fleeing along a drainpipe by a passer-by. On Tuesday afternoon, Hungarian MEP Jozsef Szajer confirmed that it was him, and apologised for breaking the coronavirus rule on gatherings, in a statement.
All attendees were issued a €250 fine as the party was in breach of the coronavirus measures. The police also found drugs at the scene.
The procedure is ongoing, the public prosecutor said, as criminal proceedings can only be started after the waiver of the persons' diplomatic or parliamentary immunity by the competent authorities.
