Federal Government's net debt fell by €2.41 billion in January

The net debt of the Federal Government was €506.891 billion at the end of January, representing a decrease of €2.41 billion, according to the Federal Debt Agency on Monday.

The gross debt, which takes into account financial investments and securities in the portfolio, increased by €1.06 billion to €520.215 billion.

The average maturity of the Federal Government’s debt reached 10.5 years, an increase of 0.12 years.

The average interest rate on debt instruments fell to 1.94%.
