Elements of a golf complex owned by Donald Trump in South Ayrshire, Scotland, have been vandalised with graffiti referencing Palestine.
The vandalism occurred overnight from Friday to Saturday and included the message “Gaza is not for sale” painted in white on a green.
Photos, including some from The Sun, show damage to a green at the Turnberry Golf Resort, a gate covered in graffiti reading “Free Palestine”, and the clubhouse façade defaced with red paint.
The damage was carried out by a group called Palestine Action, which targets arms manufacturers supplying Israel.
The Turnberry Golf Resort is one of the most prestigious golf courses in the world and was purchased by Trump in 2014.
Palestine Action released photos of the damage and explained it was in response to recent statements by the former US president about the Gaza Strip, which he suggested acquiring and depopulating.
The group rejects Trump’s approach to Gaza, treating it as if it were his property to do with as he pleases, according to a statement quoted by the BBC.
