Six million unique users have utilised government's online platform for finances MyMinfin, according to a statement from the SPF Finances on Sunday.
In 2024, 44 million logins were recorded, marking a 13% increase compared to 2023 and a 41% rise compared to 2022.
“The SPF Finances continues to digitise and optimise its services with the goal that by January 1, 2028, all procedures can be performed entirely online,” the statement noted.
MyMinfin is the online portal for handling taxes, customs, property levies, fines, and financial matters in Belgium. For those without digital access, the administration recommends scheduling a face-to-face appointment after an initial phone contact. In 2024, 116,000 people attended physical appointments, averaging 446 individuals assisted per day.
