Brussels Airlines has announced the cancellation of several flights on Sunday and Monday due to strikes at German airports, according to spokesperson Nico Cardone.
On Sunday, the airline cancelled two departing and one arriving flight between Brussels and Hamburg, where the strike started a day earlier than initially announced.
On Monday, Brussels Airlines will cancel approximately fifteen flights between Brussels and airports in Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Berlin.
The airline is offering affected customers solutions such as rebooking on other flights or refunds.
The strikes are a result of a wage dispute involving ground staff at major German airports. According to the German airport association ADV, early estimates indicate that over half a million travellers will be impacted.
