The Couleur Café festival, which will take place from 27 to 29 June in Brussels, has announced ten new acts for this summer's edition, including one of the UK's biggest rap names.

On the Friday, Couleur Café will kick off with the electrifying Little Simz, who has taken the UK rap scene by storm but it also known for her role on Netflix's Top Boy. With her eighth album, Lotus, set for release on 9 May, as well as four mixtapes and six acting roles, she has cemented herself as a prolific force in music and beyond.

Joining her is Odeal, a rising star from the alté scene, where afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, and alternative R&B blend seamlessly. The energy will soar even higher with Brazilian DJ th4ys bringing the raw, infectious spirit of funk carioca and the high-voltage baile de favela sound.

Meanwhile, on the dub front, Kanka, who is one of the pillars of the French reggae-dub-electro scene, returns after making a lasting impression on the Dub Stage in 2023.

On Saturday, living legend of the Congolese rumba Werrason will keep the energy soaring with his signature blend of infectious rhythms and dance-driven beats – guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.

Next up, the Belgo-Japanese duo Aili will deliver a vibrant dose of electro-pop. With 'Nandakke?', their debut album released in February 2024, they are embarking on an exciting new chapter, and their performance is already set to be a festival highlight.

To wrap up the weekend, three fresh talents are joining the Sunday lineup. Camille Yembe, a rising Belgian artist, will showcase her full range of talent. With her debut album 'Plastique' released last year, she has kicked off a promising career. Next, Tif, a Franco-Algerian artist, will take the stage with his unique blend of rap, chaâbi, and raï, delivering raw, heartfelt compositions that tell his story.

With global hits like Hayya Hayya – the 2022 World Cup anthem – and collaborations with stars such as Nicki Minaj, Tiwa Savage, and Nas, Davido is set to turn up the heat even further. Finally, true reggae-dub virtuoso Manudigital will bring the Dub Stage to a powerful close, joined by his longtime MC, Dapatch.

The festival takes place in Osseghem Park, at the foot of the Atomium. More information on the festival's website. Tickets that include entry for all three days of the festival and camping have already sold out.
