The organisations, We Have the Choice and The Constellation, will be commemorating the 2016 attacks in Zaventem and Brussels with a circle gathering and a 'Together for Peace' march on 22 March.

They aim to honour the victims and families affected by terrorist attacks and violence, advocating for peace and dialogue amidst global tensions.

The event will begin at 14:00 on Saturday at the Elzenhof community centre in the Brussels municipality of Ixelles.

At 15:45, participants will march towards the memorial for the 22 March 2016 attacks at the Schuman Roundabout in Brussels.

The march will conclude at the Place du Luxembourg, calling for peace and emphasising the power of love and solidarity in a rapidly changing geopolitical landscape.

"Since the beginning of the year, there have been calls to prepare for war, with speeches of hatred and division," say the organisers of Together for Peace. "We invite everyone who believes in love, solidarity, and dialogue to choose peace."

The event will start with ‘The Big Embrace’ circle, where victims of violence can share their stories and listen to each other.

This will be followed by the Walk for Peace from the Schuman Roundabout to the Place du Luxembourg, ending with a musical demonstration.
