Two injured after ship and wind turbine collide in North Sea

A ship collided with a wind turbine in the North Sea off Callantsoog in North Holland (the Netherlands) on Sunday morning. Two people were injured, according to Dutch broadcaster NH Nieuws.

The coastguard received a report of a ship colliding with a windmill at 07:00 on Sunday morning. Eight people were present on the ship, and two of them were injured. A third person on board also later went to hospital, NOS reports. The coastguard deployed several lifeboats.

The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the collision. It is not clear how extensive the damage is.
