The Michelin Guide Belgium and Luxembourg has unveiled 15 restaurants awarded the Bib Gourmand 2025 for the first time, a title given to establishments which offer quality cuisine at affordable prices.

The new list of Bib Gourmand establishments is described as a "varied and high-quality selection reflecting culinary diversity." All 15 venues are recognised for their unique ability to inject their dishes with genuine soul, according to the guide.

Brussels boasts three new Bib Gourmand restaurants this year: 'Lune Siamoise' in Ixelles, 'Babam' in Watermael-Boitsfort, and 'Au Repos de la Montagne' in Uccle.

The Uccle-based and French mountain-inspired bistro menu offers comfort eats of stuffed cabbage with smokey bacon broth and comté croquette, having won the Prix-Plaisir award in 2025.

'Babam', meanwhile, is the passion project of Paris-trained Thibaut van Outryve, specialising in local and seasonal produce including Belgian classics such as moules frites. Finally, 'Lune Siamoise' serves authentic homemade Thai cuisine with pad thai, curries and rice dishes for spice lovers.

In Wallonia, the latest Bib Gourmand titles have mainly been claimed in the provinces of Hainaut and Liège. Western Belgium has seen notable new entries such as 'Wan Thai Food' in Châtelet, 'Table et Vin' in Mont-sur-Marchienne, 'La Petite Gayole' in Thuillies, and 'Bagù' in Thuin. In the Namur area, 'Emulsion' in Floriffoux was acclaimed. 'La Maison Thaï' in Ouffet and 'Sébastian' in Liège conclude the Walloon line-up.
