US President Donald Trump has threatened Russia with sanctions following his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy before Pope's funeral.

On his communication platform, Truth Social, Trump remarked that the actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin are concerning. “Perhaps he doesn’t want to end the war but is stalling, and therefore needs to be treated differently,” Trump stated.

The US President expressed that there is no justification for Putin launching missiles at civilian areas, cities, and villages in recent days.

Trump suggested targeting the banking sector or implementing “secondary sanctions” as possible measures against Putin. “Too many people are dying!!!” he exclaimed.
