After some initial uncertainty about the date, the Consultative Committee will meet again on Friday 11 February to evaluate the current coronavirus situation.
The ministers will meet on Friday from 14:00, the cabinet of Prime Minister Alexander De Croo confirmed to The Brussels Times.
At the previous Committee meeting on Friday 21 January, the 'coronavirus barometer' was finally introduced, and all of Belgium started in 'code red.'

On Sunday, De Croo said that if the coronavirus figures continue to evolve positively, the transition to 'code orange' of the barometer could be expected. That transition would then be accompanied by a number of relaxations, among others in the hospitality industry, cinemas and theatres. More would also be possible in concerts and nightclubs.
However, the number of daily hospitalisations due to Covid-19 is currently still far above the 150 threshold, with an average of 347 new patients every day.
In the intensive care units, the situation remains under control with a total of 430 Covid-19 patients currently admitted, which already falls in code orange (between 300 and 500 patients).
In general, the tide also seems to be turning in the positive direction, as the number of new hospitalisations per day has started decreasing, indicating that the trend has started evolving favourably.
