On Saturday, the skies will be variable in the northwest of Belgium and very cloudy elsewhere while the Coast and the Ardennes will experience a few slight, wintry showers along the slopes, the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI) forecasts.
In the afternoon, the weather will become progressively dryer throughout the country, according to the IRM. Highs will range between -1°C in Hautes-Fagnes and 7°C in the centre. The wind, blowing in from the North-North-East will be moderate to, at times, quite strong, Belga News Agency reports.
The sky will clear up gradually in the evening and the weather is expected to remain dry, except on the Coast. There, a bit of snowfall is not to be ruled out.
Temperatures will drop to nearly 0°C, slightly higher on sea, and up to -10°C in the Ardennes, where some valleys could even experience lower temperatures. The wind, coming in from the North, will be generally light during the night.
After a cold, frosty night, the skies will be clear over most of the country, while the weather will be dry, but with a possibility of a few snow showers in the Northwest and North of Belgium. During the day, the skies will be variable everywhere, and cloudy at times.
There could be a few showers, mainly in the northwest and the North, but the weather will be generally dry elsewhere. Highs will range between 1°C in Hautes-Fagnes and 7°C or 8°C in the centre. The wind will become slight to moderate, coming in from the North to Northwest.
