Filling up with diesel at the pump will become considerably cheaper from Wednesday (tomorrow), while petrol prices are at a record high, according to the new maximum prices published by the Federal Public Economy Service on Tuesday.
From Wednesday, a litre of diesel (B7) can cost a maximum of €1.974 – a decrease of 11 cents. In mid-March the diesel price peaked at €2.286 per litre.
Petrol, on the other hand, rose to a record price today. Petrol 95 (E10) can cost up to €1.957 and petrol 98 (E5) up to €2.069 per litre.
The fixed fuel prices depend on the fluctuations of the quotations of oil products on the international markets, and particularly increased following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
