After a mild and dry weekend, weather conditions are expected to get warmer during the week, according to the latest forecast by Belgium's Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).
Monday will start with light to moderate winds blowing in from west to northwest. On the coast there will be a moderate west wind, shifting to the west-north-west.
Conditions will be fairly sunny with a few cloud banks to the northeast and on the northern slopes of the Ardennes. The occasional localised shower will still be possible. During the day, the weather will be dry throughout, with clear skies and some cumulus or high-altitude clouds.

Highs will range from 16°C or 17°C on the Coast and in the Ardennes to 20°C in Kempen and Belgian Lorraine. There will be a moderate northwesterly wind.
Temperatures will keep rising as the days go by. IRM announces maximum temperatures of 20°C to 25°C on Tuesday, 22 to 27°C on Wednesday and Thursday, and even 27°C to 30°C on Friday.
